Committee
Chair Report
April 20, 2005
Are the rest of you as busy as I seem to be?
It's just one of those times of the year when family, work, and
Scouts start coming at us. I truly appreciate the way many of you
have become like extended family.
I hope you can find time to come to the committee meeting
on Monday, April 25th. It will be at the home of the
Vermillion's beginning at 7PM. If we can stay on task, we should
be out by 8:30PM. Please call me if you have items for the agenda.
As with any organization, there are jobs that need to be done.
We are coming up on planning time for next year and we have no one
to chair Fundraising. We have a temporary "Cheerleader" for
outings, but we are looking for an Outdoor Activities
Coordinator. This position would also include the generation
of permission slips, filling trip permits, and tracking nights
camping on Troop Master. The third position that we are looking
for is that of Treasurer. Besides the keeping of the books,
it is important that this person have availability at Troop and
Committee meetings.
Is you Scout checking his mailbox and bringing the newsletter
home for you to read? There are quite a few activities coming up
in the next six weeks.
Work may take me away from some meetings in the next month, but
feel free to call me, or e-mail me at
mchapman@pcc.edu.
