Greetings!

This month's committee meeting will be on Monday April 24th at the Fife's. The meeting begins at 7pm and ends around 8:30. All troop adults are welcome.

The troop will be heading out to Oxbow Park this weekend for Pre-Camporee. We are joining two other troops for some friendly competition and a shake down outing for our new patrols. I am sure that Clark and Frank could still use some help on Saturday to run events.

We have 3 Eagle Courts of Honors coming up on the calendar. Jason Johnson's is April 29th, John Hildenbrand's is May 6th, and a joint one for Preston Dyer and CJ Vermillion is in the planning stages for May 10th. More information is available at troop. We also have one Scout waiting for his Scoutmaster conference, one actively working on his project, and at least three more gearing up to do their leadership project for Eagle!

I would like you to kook forward to two upcoming events. The first is Flag Placement at Willamette National Cemetery on Friday, May 25th. This is an absolutely awe inspiring event. Think about attending as a family. The second event is the June 13th Court of Honor followed by the mandatory summer camp meeting. Is your son signed up to go with the troop to Camp Baldwin this summer?

For those who don't know, Clark will be retiring from the role of Scoutmaster this June. Frank Villa is trained and has been learning the ropes from Clark for the past couple months. Also asking for retirement is our secretary, Cathy Vermillion. Sooooooo, troop needs a new secretary. Are there other adults looking to share duties or positions they now hold? Let me know. Are you looking for a way to help the troop? Think about it. You will have the opportunity on June 13th.
