JUNE! Scream and shout 'cause school is out. Let the summer fun begin. As you get this letter, Stephen and I will probably be on the Clearwater River in Idaho, retracing the steps of Lewis and Clark o finish up the CPC patch program. We have scouts heading off to leadership camps (Sogus and Polaris), Horse Trek, Bahamas, Rover camp at Pioneer and Meriwether, and in August the troop heads to Camp Baldwin.

How to fund all of this? Well, there are various product sales during the year. We also do some fundraising by offering a service. This summer we have two more weekends that we run a concession stand for PIR races. The next dates are July 8th & 9th. The final dates are July 21st, 22nd, & 23rd. Please contact Teri Alwert for questions and to sign up.

This month's committee meeting will be on Monday, June 26th at the Vermillion home. We begin at 7pm and try to end by 8:30.

The Troop Committee is now without a secretary. If you have an interest in this position, please call me.

If your scout is going to Camp Baldwin with the troop and was unable to attend the June 13th COG and summer camp meeting, please contact me for the information packet. Please remember to have your Scout get his camp activity sheet to me by June 30th. If you have questions, please contact Mr. Villa, or me.

On Saturday, June 24th, we will be emptying the storage container, moving it to the back of the church property, and re-loading it. Needless to say we need all the able bodied troop members that can come. I will be making phone calls.
