Chair ReportDecember 2006
Dear Scouting Family,
November and December has been a blur for me. It is a mixed
blessing to have as many projects as I've had opening and
closing. They pay the bills and offer various artistic
challenges, but they have kept me away from too many Tuesday
night scout meetings.
It's been an enjoyable year with plenty of good campouts and
a great week at Camp Baldwin. Stephen and I had a terrific time
at Rover week at Camp Meriwether and on our trip on the
Clearwater River, Idaho to finish up the Lewis and Clark patch
program. Stephen calls his trip to the Bahamas the highlight of
his scouting year. I think he also really enjoyed being a Staff
in Training at Butte Creek.
I find it a continuing pleasure to be a part of such a
quality troop. I feel honored to be part of the district
advancement team. Reviewing and approving Scouts' Eagle projects
is a rewarding experience.
Many thanks and much appreciation to all the Scouts and their
families for the energy and involvement you bring to the troop.
All the best in 2007
