Greetings!

I am using this snowy day to catch up on everything I didn't get done on yesterdays holiday, plus some ongoing sorting and cleaning out of an abundance of stuff that is cluttering my home. I hope you are all snug at home with a good book and a cup of hot chocolate.

This coming Monday, January 22 is our Committee Meeting. It will be at the Vermillion home beginning at 7PM. On the agenda will be planning for Scout Sunday and Red and Green. All adults are welcome to attend.

Merit Badge Madness was a great success! I want to thank the adults that made this happen. I also want to thank the adults who are stepping up to take charge of the Eagle required merit badge classes that we offer at troop. Without you, the boys would not be making their rank advancements, and we certainly would not have as many Eagle Scouts. The troop has a number of Life Scouts that will be conducting their Eagle Leadership Service Projects in the next few months. These are a good opportunity for the rest of the troop to earn their service hours while providing valuable service to the community. Let us be sure to support our youth in these important activities.
