Greetings!

Welcome to our new families. We are glad you are with us.

Monday March 19th is our next Troop Committee Meeting. It will be at the Woodell home beginning at 7PM and ending around 8:30PM. All troop adults are invited to attend. Please call the Woodell's for directions to their home.

This Saturday, March 17th is Thunderbird District Training at the LDS Church across from Centennial HS (3600 SE 182nd). New Leader Essentials is from 8AM - 9:30AM. At 9:30AM is Boy Scout Specific. This training is essential for Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, and those who aspire to these positions. (This training concludes with an overnight the weekend of March 30-31). Troop Committee Challenge is also at 9:30AM, but this training is now available on-line. At 1:30PM, I will be giving Youth Protection Training. This training is expected of any adult working with our youth or going on outings. It must be renewed every two years. If you are unable to attend this session, it will be repeated at the April 12th Roundtable, or this training is also available on line. Please inform me of any training that you complete.

March 20th is Troop Elections. If your scout has recently become 1st Class, Star, or Life rank, they will need leadership to advance to their next rank. As a boy led troop, we also need the youth to be active in leadership positions.

If you have not returned your FOS pledge card to Mike Cash, please do this soon so that he can wrap up the campaign.

As a service project to our Charter Organization, we will be installing a new playground. The Troop needs adults to help organize this. Please volunteer to either Frank or myself.
