Chain Hitch

Uses: With this "knot" you can drag logs, limbs, or pull any solid object.

Instructions: 1) Tie a clove hitch four to five feet from one end of the object being pulled or dragged. 2) At about one foot intervals pass the rope around the object and back through the rope making a half hitch. 3) Repeat step 2, two to four times. 4) Drag or pull the object.

Notes: It is a very nice hitch and it locks on itself and you can pull nearly anything with it."
