Last Scout Meeting Tonight!

Tonight is the last Scout Meeting for the summer. Cherry orders are due to Lisa Whedon next Tuesday. Please call her with your orders and set up a time for money drop off. If you sold Tupperware, Tina Hanke will call you for a pick-up time and date!

Reliant July 24-25

We are sailing on the Reliant again this year. Sign-ups are on the table. Please sign up early so we can get an idea of who will be attending this event. You will cruise down the Columbia and be docked at a beach to spend the night. It was a blast last year and should be again this year. Tonight is the last night to sign up!

Changes for Next Year

The boys have decided that PLC will be on a different night so that there will be four Tuesdays of scouts each month. September 7th will be the first scout meeting with Court of Honor being on the 14th. Look for a Scout calendar coming in the mail to you in August.

Committee Meeting June 27

and is a potluck. The main dish will be provided. Please bring a dessert or salad to share!

We will begin at 4:00 PM. All are welcome! Please call Cathy Vermillion if you plan on attending so she can plan for enough food, 503-760-1421

Pack Check July 29th

For all boys going to summer camp. Please bring your packed backpack to the Vermillion's between 6-8 PM on July 29th. Your boys' packs will be emptied and checked by older scouts. You will be told what you are missing or be sent home with things that are not needed. Packs will then stay at the Vermillion's and brought to Lynch Wood Elementary School on Sunday, August 1st. Remember that your son will be carrying his pack to the camp site, so don't ever do it. Snacks are permissible to send to camp but make sure they are in a "Rubbermaid" type sealed box. Critters will eat through everything to get to that scent! If you are a new scout and have not turned in the weeklong medical form, please bring it to pack check with you. DO NOT wait to get an appointment with your doctor. CALL NOW!

Eagle Projects

Thanks to all who helped Justin P. and CJ V. with their Eagle Projects. Both boys are done and just awaiting the final stages!

New Committee Chair

Welcome Margaret Chapman as our new Committee Chair. Margaret is replacing Lisa Whedon who has stepped down after many years of leading this Troop! We want to thank Lisa for her hard work, understanding and patience!
