Outing Date Change

This weekends outing is for ONE night only. We have conflicts with Cub Scout Blue and Golds going on and various people needing to attend them.

Red and Green

Tickets for Red and Green are on sale now. They are $3.00 per person. PLEASE pre-purchase your tickets. It will ensure dinner for all. Thank you for your consideration. This years theme is camping and we are asking each person attending to bring their own mess kit for eating.

Class B/Game Night

We are going golfing on the 22nd. Please be at Glendoveer by 7:00 PM and pick your scout up at Glendoveer at 8:30 PM.

Scoutmaster Breakfast News

A BIG thank you for all the scouts and parents who helped make this a success. We made $435.00! Thank you to Linda Dyer for getting most of the breakfast food donated

and for individuals who donated food and/or money to help defray costs! We could not have done this without you!

Fees Coming Up

Red and Green is a special time to come together and honor our scouts who have advanced in rank, earned merit badges and to honor those adult individuals who have lent their service to our troop. It is also a time to collect the second half of your yearly dues, put down summer camp deposits and to collect for FOS. Friends Of Scouting is a Council wide fundraiser to collect money for various worthwhile projects they sponsor. Without FOS there would not be financial aid for the scout who needs it or reduced camp site fees for Troops. If you have read this, please call Cathy Vermillion by Friday, 3:00 PM to be entered in a drawing. Last year we did not make our FOS goal, which in turn caused us to pay more per boy to go to camp, use Council property and for those boys who did extra scout things, like Horse Trek and Polaris/Sogus, to pay a higher rate to participate. A family-giving rate of #130.00 is what the council is asking, but we ask that you give what you can. Remember it is tax deductible. They will even bill you monthly at about $16.00 per month. If you have any questions please ask Debbie Breshears.

Committee Meeting

Next Committee Meeting will be held at the Lohkamp's. February 21st at 7:00 PM. ALL ARE WELCOME!
