Please note that the Camp Dakota outing has been changed. We will be leaving at 7:15AM Saturday morning. That means we will be meeting at the church at 7:00AM. We want to make sure we get there safely! This is a very inexpensive outing so we hope all of you are going! It should be a fun one. We are sleeping in teepees!

The Eagles have landed!

Congratulations to Jason Johnson and John Hildenbrand who have officially become Eagles from Troop 542!

Candy Bar Sales

If you still have candy at your house that you have had since October, now is the time to get it sold and monies turned in! Please talk to Terri Alwert about this!

Red and Green is a special time to come together and honor our scouts who have advanced in rank, earned merit badges and to honor those adult individuals who have lent their service to our troop. It is also a time to collect the second half of your yearly dues, put down summer camp deposits and to collect for FOS. Friends of Scouting is a Council wide fundraiser to collect money for various worthwhile projects they sponsor. Without FOS there would not be financial aid for the scouts who need it or reduced camp site fees for Troops. A family-giving rate of $140.00 is what the council is asking, but we ask that you give what you can. Remember it is tax deductible. They will even bill you monthly.
