Camp Baldwin 2005

Blue skies and warm winds on the eastern slope of Mt. Hood attract hundreds of Scouts to this pine forested camp each year. The most unique and special feature of Camp Baldwin is the string of horses available for the Horsemanship merit badge and trail rides, the Friday evening barbecue followed by Baldwin's American Heritage campfire, is the highlight of a Scout's summer camp week.

29 Scouts plus several adults ready to go to camp!

Daniel frying up his catch of the day.

The rifle range.

Mrs. Chapman spent so much time at the rifle range that she was able to become a certified NRA rifle instructor. Congratulations!

Are you ready for your swim test?

Just how warm is that lake?

The Blue Whale...aka the chow wagon, on its daily delivery.

Meal time...sure is quite.

Jack, "the food is great!"

Bobby shows off his home away from home.

What is a horse ranch with out horses?

Stephen, are you that hungry?

Self made cooking facilities. Those scouts sure had a lot of practice cooking meals.

Camp Meriwether 2005 (Rover Camp)

Bryan was the only scout this year to attend Camp Meriwether as a rover scout.

Bryan spent most of his time down at the lake, be it swimming, lifesaving, canoeing, or the mile swim.
