Eagle Creek from near the beginning of the trailhead. |
|
2 miles into the hike lies beautiful
Punch Bowl Falls. With a little imagination you can even see
the "ladle" angling into the punch bowl. |

down Justin! |

The hike took us along shear basalt cliffs with the
creek lying 100's of feet below. |
| 2.8 miles into the hike lies Loowit
falls, was one of the most beautiful falls on the hike. |

High Bridge, 3 miles from the trailhead, traverses

After lunch and a short rest, several of our party
continued hiking (with out packs). |
| At the 6 mile mark lies Tunnel Falls. The
arrow shows the entrance of the tunnel that has been chipped
into the rock behind the falls. |

The last stop on our hike is Eagle Creek Falls, 6.25
miles from the trail head. |

Russell, one of the older scouts that took charge
from the beginning of the hike. He showed true leadership
the entire outing. When one of the younger scouts became
ill, he chose to stay behind and lead a slower group to help
the ill scout complete the hike. Great job Russell. |
| Preston, the other older scout that took
charge from the onset of the trip. His positive attitude,
great leadership, and willingness to carry not only his own
pack, but also the pack of one of the younger scouts that
became ill, demonstrates what being an Eagle Scout is all
about. Great job Preston. |
